WEEK 1
Ancestors From Blood & Beyond; Who Are Your Ancestors?
What is an ancestor? Colonization has taught you that your ancestors are only human. Through a traditional teaching you will learn:
- Layers of Ancestors (Blood + Beyond)
- Learn the 4 Parts of Ancestral Work
- Connect and identify your ancestors throughout each layer.
We start the first week off with truly understanding what are ancestors, what ancestral work means, and begin to connecting to the ancestors.
WEEK 2
Building Relationship With Your Ancestors + Erecting The Altar
Now that you know who you are ancestors are, it's time to begin communion. During this session, you’ll learn:
- How to approach your ancestors and show up at the altar. (Right relationship, reverence, and integrity)
- Step-by-step process on how to build your ancestral altar.
- What type of offerings to give your ancestors & how to know what they want.
This week we move from knowledge into practice. The altar is now erected and the ancestors are here.
WEEK 3
Not All Ancestors Are Good; How to Protect Yourself + Invoke Your Elevated Ancestors
Not every ancestor has your best interest at heart. During this session, you’ll learn:
- How to protect yourself from malevolent ancestors.
- The different types of spiritual hygiene rituals for yourself and your ancestors.
- Invocation prayers, candle reading, and times of day to communion with your ancestors.
This is where we dive into the more complexed parts of ancestral work which includes protection. You will know how to deal with malevolent ancestors and invoke your elevated ones.
WEEK 4
Mending The Bloodline; Healing Ancestral Trauma
We all hold ancestral trauma within us. Many traditions believe wounds go back as far as 7 generations. In this session, you’ll learn:
- How to identify ancestral shadows.
- Rituals for mending warring bloodlines and confronting the colonizer.
- The 4 Parts of The Ancestral Body & how to heal them.
This week we begin one of the pillars of ancestral work which is ancestral healing. By healing their shadows we reclaim their medicine.
WEEK 5
Restoring Ancestral Medicine & The Sacredness of Your Ancestors
Your ancestors hold teachings, ceremonies, and ways of working with medicine. In this session, you’ll learn:
- How to find the medicine in your ancestors.
- How to begin commune with the plant + animal relatives.
- Begin to divine with your ancestors.
By now, you have built connection to the ancestors. You have erected the altar. You have confronted the shadows. Now it's time to feel their medicine.
WEEK 6
Closing Ceremony; Honoring & Meeting The Ancestors
We show honor and reverence to the sacred work you have begun with a closing ceremony. In this session, you will:
- Enter into a traditional healing where you will meet your ancestors.
- Restore connection back into Mother Earth.
- Be gifted sacred gifts, teachings, and protections from the spirit world via your ancestors.
You have worked closely and intimately with your ancestors over the last 6 weeks. Now, we seal this sacred work with a traditional healing where you will meet your ancestors and weave their medicine back to you.
